Congratulations Seniors 2011

As another school year comes to an end, I wanted to take a moment to congratulate the seniors of the class of 2011! A special thank you to Torey, Nick, Connor, Madeline, Shelby, Leslie, Malachi, Kendall, and their families for giving me the privelege of working with this fine bunch of seniors! It is easy to take great pictures when you have such beautiful people to work with!

School is back in full swing, and fall is quickly approaching! It's time for the Class of 2010 to start scheduling their session for senior portraits.

New Family Member!

Meet Brooklyn! She is a 16-month Standard Poodle. We adopted her in June, and she has been a delightful addition to our family. She has such a wonderful temperament. She is friendly to dogs, cats, and humans alike and loves to be groomed. She has only had a little obedience training, though we are working on it. Posing her for this photo proved challenging in that she hasn't quite mastered the "stay" command.

Merry Christmas!

This year my family and I were fortunate enough to spend a white Christmas in Montana with my parents! What a wonderful visit we had.

The year 2008 has been very exciting and busy for me! I have been encouraged by the growth I have seen in my business, and I am looking forward to what the new year has in store for me!

I would like to thank everyone--both big and small--who has sat in front of my lens and allowed me to photograph their image this year! I've enjoyed working with each and every one of you!

And I'd like to give one more special thank you to my husband, JJ. I cannot imagine doing this without him by my side. He is my best friend and the best equipment manager a girl could ask for!

Time for Fall Sports!

Fall is here again, and it is time for fall sports! The season is keeping me busy. In addition to soccer team photos, I was asked to be the official photographer this year's Chillfest sponsored by Tulsa United Soccer Club.

I have also worked with the varsity cheerleading squad at Riverfield Country Day School. We had a fun shoot downtown, and the resulting photos turned out great!

Neighborhood Promotion a Success!

Thank you to all of my friends and neighbors who responded to my promotion for a Free Session! I photographed many sessions last week and had a lot of fun in the process.

Bellies & Babies

Last night my husband and I had the privelege of attending the Bellies & Babies 2008 tour with Sandy "Sam" Puc'. The program provided innovative ideas and techniques for maternity and baby photography. Sandy is the owner of Expressions by Sandy Puc' in Littleton, Colorado and she serves on the Board of Directors of the Professional Photographers of America.

We are very excited about what we learned! So much so that our son and resident model, Ethan, got his very own private studio session today! The photo below was the last shot of the session, and he was very willing to lie down for a little nap.
